Questions

What do I need to do before moving abroad for a few months?

The usual list: check visa and time limits for your passport, get long-stay health insurance, tell your bank, sort a phone plan, decide what to do with your home and mail, and line up housing for the first weeks. Sojourn drafts this checklist for your destination, dates and situation, with due dates counted back from your arrival.

How is this different from a trip planner?

Trip planners are built around days and activities. A three to six month stay is closer to moving: paperwork, a monthly budget, a routine, local essentials, and a few big dates like visa limits and flights. Sojourn is built around those.

Can I plan more than one base?

Yes. Add each place you'll live, like two months in Lisbon then a month in Porto. The Today screen shows where you are now and what's next.

Is the AI advice reliable for visas?

Treat it as a starting checklist, not legal advice. Visa and tax rules depend on your nationality and change often, so Sojourn marks those items to confirm with an official source.

Do we need an account?

No account or email. Your stay lives at a private link. Share it with whoever's coming and they join with just a name. Use a device code to open it on your laptop too.
